What is Hypnotherapy
Ok Here it is
Hypnotherapy is the Unconcious and Concious mind finally getting it on.
To put it briefly, hypnosis is a state of mind, which everyone is capable of achieving. When properly induced, hypnosis produces a wonderful state of relaxation, during which your inner mind is able to be reached directly, even though you are consciously aware of what you are doing Hypnosis is a state of wonderful relaxation and concentration. It's a natural trance state.

Once your there it’s like daydreaming which in itself is a relaxed state of mind where you 'switch off'. When in a Hypnotic Trance you are in control at all times and simply follow the suggestions of the hypnotherapist in your mind. Hypnosis is an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable experience. You will be aware of everything that is said and you will not become unconscious or fall asleep. Everyone is capable of being hypnotized! The depth of the hypnotic state achieved varies for each person, and varies each time a person is hypnotized, yet everyone is capable of achieving the depth needed to handle the problem he or she desires to overcome
What will I do?
When hypnotising, I guide you to relax your mind and body and lead you into deep relaxation through a blend of repetition, suggestion, relaxation, metaphor and the use of my language. After a while the analytical (conscious) mind switches off, allowing me to give the suggestions to the part of the brain where the decisions, beliefs and suchlike take place, in other words 'where change occurs at the deepest level'. When in this state, your unconscious mind can be 'reprogrammed' to deal with things in a different way and as such, freeing you from whatever was holding you back. After hypnosis, you will emerge a more positive and refreshed person, fully capable and almost "armed" with a new mind and new rules. With a changed mindset you are already halfway towards cure.
So hypnotism is all about changing the mindset.By going deep deep into the mind of the hypnotized it digs out the thoughts and emotions which are making the person ill or prone to attacks. Since the triggers of most conditions are dormant deep within the mind, hypnotism replaces all the negatives with positive ideas, suggestions and thoughts. Its just so powerful, totally non evasive and is permanent.
The most common image of hypnotism is some guy wearing a long black coat, dangling a pocket watch in front of someone on a chair. Soon the 'hypnotized' person either falls asleep or does something stupid. Fortunately, hypnosis is much more than magic tricks - though the effects of this ancient and mystical science in medical practice is magical, to say the least.
Its not scary and wont be what you expect.

There are 2 main types of Hypnotherapy that can be employed. They are both very powerful and have fantastic effects.

Suggestion Hypnotherapy
This is obviously the use of the power of suggestion, whether that is direct suggestion (e.g. you will stop smoking now) or indirect suggestion (eg. suggestions in the form of metaphors and stories). This can be very effective for bad habits such as smoking and drinking alcohol, weight, nail-biting etc.I have found that this type of therapy can be very quick. Usually requires 1 to 2 sessions.
Analytical Hypnotherapy (hypnoanalysis)
This type of hypnotherapy delves into the causes of the client’s issue. It helps to find the original experience or the route cause of the problem(s).
Advantages
Issues or symptoms are less likely to return as the original cause has been addressed
You may find that this releases other connected issues
Suggestion hypnotherapy can be utilised as part of the total approach as well. I use both as combined, better results can be achieved.
I have found that this approach often leads to increased self-understanding and a better relationship with yourself
